Our founder, Diwakar Rajpat Vishwakarma, is a distinguished name symbolizing the fusion of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design. Emerging from a small village in Uttar Pradesh, he has preserved a legacy nurtured for generations through the art of woodworking.
From a young age, he grew up watching his father create art from wood. A deep connection to craftsmanship in his formative years, followed by the opportunity to work alongside renowned architects in Mumbai, expanded his perspective to a global level.
Through his proprietorship firm Diwakar Furniture, he has spent 35+ years manufacturing and installing doors, furniture and complete interiors for Pune's most demanding developers — including 7,650+ doors across just two townships, plus projects for Pride Purple Group, Yashada Realty, Roshan Realty, VTP Realty, Gera Developments, Bhate & Raje and many more.
Motion Woods Private Limited is the next chapter: the same master craftsman, the same trained site teams and industrial machinery, now structured as a private limited company built for larger contracts, tighter processes and long-term partnerships with builders and institutions.
